My first real foray into indoor concert photography was this week at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. I finally jumped in a purchased a full frame camera (Nikon's D700) and love it! I paired it up with a Tokina 300mm 2.8 lens and away we went! 
Previously, I have used a tripod indoors and was unable to get the
type of images I really wanted with a high ISO. The full frame camera gives me much better results and I love the fact I can rip up the ISO all the way to 6400 and it will still be sharp. Check it out!
